Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has been cleared of racially abusing Everton opponent.

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has been cleared of wrongdoing by the FA after an allegation was made against him.
Everton’s Mason Holgate had alleged Firmino insulted him with a racial slur during the FA Cup clash between the two Merseyside clubs in January.
The FA reported back their findings yesterday and confirmed no further action will be taken against the Liverpool forward.

It was also reported that they were satisfied Mason Holgate made the accusation ‘in good faith’.
BBC Sport reported the FA statement: “There is no suggestion of this being an intentionally false or malicious allegation.”
Despite this Liverpool supporters have been calling on the Everton defender to be banned, not for the allegation but for his push on Firmino.
After the clash together between the two players in the cup clash, Holgate responded in a hot-headed manner by dangerously shoving Firmino into the crowd.
Now the investigation into Firmino has been concluded, Liverpool fans have been demanding action is now taken against the Toffees centre-back.
