Liverpool Under 19s progressed to the quarter finals of the UEFA Youth League thanks to a 2-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday.
Ben Woodburn and Rafael Camacho ensured victory for Steven Gerrard's side against their north west rivals, who are managed by a former midfielder of their own in Nicky Butt.
However, it is Woodburn - who finished well with a glancing header from Neco Williams' deep cross - taking most of the plaudits from Liverpool fans on Twitter.
The Welsh talent is said to have been the subject of interest from clubs including Sunderland during the January transfer window, but was kept at Anfield by first team boss Jurgen Klopp, who allowed Daniel Sturridge to leave on loan instead.
And many of a Liverpool persuasion hope to see Woodburn put to use in the Reds' upcoming fixtures against West Ham United and FC Porto.
Here's what they're saying about the 18-year-old...
This guy must get a chance against West Ham this weekend at Anfield...— Sumit Sundriyal (@SumitSun14) 21 February 2018

Yes, he'll grow some balls and gain some confidence.— P (@IyazKahn) 21 February 2018
Defintely. Rest Salah and play Ings for Bobby aswell. We need them fresh for the manU game.— Tommie Vadàszi (@TommieVadaszi) 21 February 2018
I understand the logic of those who want players loaned but the likes of Owen, Fowler, Gerrard and Carra weren't and look at them. Too early to put Woodburn in that bracket but he's a huge talent and well ahead of schedule for his age. Be patient with him, no need to rush at all.— Dan McLaughlin (@Dan23_92) 21 February 2018
Ben Woodburn is a class act. The boy is gonna be huge!!! @BenWoodburn— WelshRed (@WelshRed3) 21 February 2018
That Neco Williams at right back looked great as well as Bobby Adekanye.— Luke Cullen (@lukecullen) 21 February 2018
Woodburn gets better with every game, always nice to beat United at any level.
Woodburn has already appeared 10 times for Liverpool's first team and famously scored on his debut against Leeds United in November 2016.
