Diafra Sakho decided to depart West Ham in January with Rennes landing his signature.

Diafra Sakho decided to leave West Ham United in January after a tumultuous end to his Hammers spell as fans turned their back on the wantaway striker, but how is he doing in France with new side Stade Rennais?
The 28-year-old was criticised for openly speaking of his desire to leave the Hammers, and with his previous contract at the London Stadium set to expire in the summer, he was allowed to depart.

He finally completed a move to Ligue 1 side Rennes for a fee believed to in the region of £8million, and has since his the ground running under the guidance of experienced manager Sabri Lamouchi.
The eight-time Senegal international has scored three goals in just four games, with one of those strikes coming in the Cup against Paris Saint-Germain as well as a brace against SM Caen in the league on Saturday afternoon.

It seems as though Sakho is once again showing his best form after finally leaving the Hammers to join Rennes, and is in with a shout of earning a place in the Senegal side for the World Cup.
Sakho scored 24 goals for the Hammers during his 71 league and cup appearances, a decent return with a ratio of one goal every three games. But his current form will make West Ham fans wonder what could have been.
