West Bromwich Albion are sinking like a stone in the Premier League and were eliminated from the FA Cup at the weekend.

Tony Pulis’ replacement Alan Pardew has not had any sort of positive impact at the club, and the team sit bottom of the league staring relegation in the face.

They were beaten 2-1 in the FA Cup fifth round at the weekend at home to relegation rivals Southampton.

Last week’s training camp to Spain caused more problems than it solved and Pardew is the clear favourite with bookies to be the next manager fired.

As for a replacement, the obvious choice would be former boss Gary Megson in a caretaker role until the end of the season.

Megson acted as caretaker after Tony Pulis was fired earlier in the season and appeared to be getting the team playing reasonably well.

West Brom drew the two games he managed, with the team showing more resolve than they have done of late under Pardew.

It might be too late for the Baggies to avoid relegation but under Pardew their fate seems inevitable.

Fans are keen for Megson to take his place immediately and lay down the law to the under performing West Brom players.
