Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has labelled Piers Morgan a "deluded Gooner" after the well-known Arsenal fan claimed that Liverpool's Mo Salah was the Premier League's best player.
Salah scored Liverpool's second goal of the night on Wednesday as Jurgen Klopp's side cruised to a 5-0 first-leg win at Porto.
In doing so, the Eyptian attacker bagged his 29th goal of the season in all competitions.
As a result, Morgan took to Twitter to claim that the former Roma and Chelsea winger was the best player in the Premier League - a claim that the Tottenham legend has refuted in some style.
He’s a deluded gooner Salah a very good player but Kane is best striker listen to Rio and Glenn last night as they played the game and Piers Morgan watches— Graham Roberts (@GrahamRoberts4) February 14, 2018
Roberts is probably right. The Spurs hitman, who scored in Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Juventus, is probably the most valuable player in the division - if not the continent - and his goal return for Tottenham makes it hard to disagree.
The 24-year-old striker has netted 33 goals in all competitions for the Lilywhites this season and is arguably the most complete centre-forward in world football at the moment.
