It has been a great week for English clubs in the Champions League. Liverpool and Manchester City thrashed their respective opponents away from home but perhaps the most impressive display came from Tottenham Hotspur against Juventus.
The Italian side are regulars in the Champions League showpiece in May and in Turin, getting an away goal can be tough.
After a disastrous start however spurs managed to score twice and take a 2-2 draw back to Wembley for the return leg.

It was a result that impressed fans and ex-players alike, l with one man again highlighting his worth to the Tottenham side. In the weekend win over Arsenal it was Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembele that earned rave plaudits and rightly so. He did it again in Italy this weekend.

The Belgian is undoubtedly enjoying one of his best runs in the Tottenham side for some time and plenty of people are finally taking notice of what Spurs fans have known for some time. Dembele is a special footballer and he is what makes Tottenham tick.
Hopefully he can put in a similar performance when the Italian juggernaut arrives at Wembley.
