The Polish striker has scored just four goals this season, following a 30-goal term in 2016-17.

Last summer Everton were in the hunt for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who had exited the club for Manchester United.
One such player who was linked with Everton was the Polish striker Lukasz Teodorczyk. He was a player well known to Everton, after he dominated Antolin Alcaraz in a Europa League clash back in 2015.
He was linked with Everton and a few other teams whilst at Kiev but he ended up switching to Belgian side Anderlecht. He had an excellent season at Anderlecht in his debut term, scoring 30 goals in 53 games for the club in 2016-17.

In the summer he was linked with Everton again, with the Mirror reporting Everton were considering making a £10 million move for the player.
That deal never happened and the 26-year-old stayed at the Belgian side.

However, Everton will not feel they have missed out considering the player’s form this season. He has struggled to live up to his 2016-17 form. He has managed to score just four goals this season in 27 games and Everton will not feel he would have been the solution to their striking woes.
Instead they signed nobody, and struggled as a consequence, before bringing in Cenk Tosun in January. The Turkish striker has had to settle for time on the bench but judging by his form this season, Teodorczyk would not have done much better.
