Glasgow Rangers booked their place in the next round of the Scottish Cup, with the Ibrox side running out 6-1 winners.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Sean Goss’ performance in their Scottish Cup win over Ayr on Sunday afternoon, and it seems that many want the club to do all they can to make the midfielder’s loan deal permanent this summer.
The Gers survived an early scare, as a horrendous mistake from Wes Foderingham allowed the home side to break the deadlock, to go into the break level before they stepped up several gears in the second-half.

The Light Blues were on top for much of the game, but only managed to put the game beyond doubt midway through the second-half, with Alfredo Morelos and Josh Windass scoring twice each, while Jason Cummings and Jamie Murphy also got onto the scoresheet for Graeme Murty’s side.
While he did not score in the emphatic win, Goss’ performance earned a huge number of plaudits on social media. Signing the midfielder appeared to be a gamble during the January transfer window, with the 22-year-old boasting only a handful of first-team appearances during his career.

However, he has so far proved to be an inspired signing with a string of fine displays in the middle of the park. And his latest outing saw Goss dictate much of the game and play some brilliant passes. It was also his excellent effort which thundered off the bar that allowed Morelos to score the equaliser.
The Rangers fans on social media have not only heaped praise upon the midfielder, but also suggested that the Gers need to make sure that he remains at Ibrox beyond the end of the season.
