Pearce was on target as Leeds United’s Under-23s beat Nottingham Forest on Friday.

Leeds United fans are urging their club to promote Tom Pearce.
Pearce helped Leeds Under-23s to an impressive 5-1 win against their Nottingham Forest counterparts – who had not lost a league game since September – on Friday.
The left-back topped off a fine individual display by scoring the game’s final goal, after strikes from Oliver Sarkic, Oriol Rey, Adrian Balboa and Paudie O’Connor.
And according to many Whites followers, the time has come for Pearce to shine at first team level, having been named on the bench in recent fixtures against Cardiff City, Hull City and Newport County, without coming on.
Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter…
First team forward Jay-Roy Grot was one of two changes made from Leeds Under-23s’ draw at home to Birmingham City last Friday, with goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell also returning.
Peacock-Farrell, who is said to have trialled with Swedish side Landskrona last month, took the place of recent signing Kamil Miazek, while Grot’s inclusion saw Romario Vieira relegated to the bench.
