Fulham teen Sessegnon continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham.
Fulham teenager Ryan Sessgnon has told the London Evening Standard that it is "flattering" to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and a whole host of other Premier League sides.
The Daily Mirror claimed in December that Spurs were considering a £20million move for the 17-year-old left-footer, who can play either at left-back or on the left wing.
Sessegnon has continued to shine under the guidance of manager Slavisa Jokanovic, alongside Steven Sessegnon, as Fulham continue to blow away their Championship opponents in a run of good form that has seen them climb into fifth.
The England youth international was flattered by interest from Tottenham, as well as Liverpool, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs in the summer, but he is remaining grounded as he continues his progress at Craven Cottage.
“It was flattering to be linked with other clubs but my main focus was on Fulham,” Sessegnon said. “My aim has always been to try and help the club get back into the Premier League. I didn’t pay too much attention to it. I’m always focused on my job at Fulham.
“As you can see in every league game I’ve started, each game I try to be better than the last. I’m enjoying having this good season. That is down to the game time I’m getting.”
Starring in a move advanced role of left wing after breaking through as a left-back, Sessegnon has scored an impressive 11 goals in 33 league and cup outings, turning provider on a further four occasions.
He has a contract at Fulham until the summer of 2020, but if he continues to impress in England's second tier without gaining promotion come May, then surely the youngster will only continue to attract Premier League attention.
