Arsenal’s Petr Cech is doubtful for the trip to Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur fans are disappointed by the idea that Petr Cech will not start for Arsenal in Saturday’s North London derby at White Hart Lane.
According to The Telegraph, the veteran goalkeeper is likely to miss this weekend’s trip to Tottenham after coming off injured in the 5-1 win over Everton four days ago.
If true, David Ospina will start for Arsenal and some Spurs fans on Twitter would have preferred to face the 35-year-old.
One big error from Cech contributed to the Gunners’ shock 3-1 defeat by Swansea City last week, and those on the white side of North London were looking forward to seeing him in net this weekend.
Bit of a shame really … been in such stunning form recently

Huge blow for #THFC. Suppose we will have to find a way to get past Ospina now… #COYS #PL https://t.co/2S9c6iyjIJ

Bugger there’s an own goal or a couple of mistakes we won’t get now

That being said, Tottenham fans can probably be just as happy at the thought of facing Ospina, who doesn’t inspire the utmost confidence at the best of times it has to be said.
The Colombia international does have a mistake in him, as does Cech, so it’ll be interesting to see if Jekyll or Hyde turns up at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
