Leeds United are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Thomas Christiansen.

Leeds United have done what was inevitable – part company with head coach Thomas Christiansen.

The West Yorkshire outfit are still very much in the race for the Championship playoffs, but they have yet to win in 2018.

The Whites have gone seven matches without a win, and it was inevitable that the club’s hierarchy was going to take action.

The question now is who should replace Christiansen. Who is the best available manager who can take the current team and guide them into the playoffs?

Could it be Simon Grayson? The 48-year-old former defender is without a managerial job at the moment, and he has a very good record at Leeds.

Grayson started his professional club football career at Leeds and managed the Whites from 2008 until 2012.

The Englishman guided Leeds from League One to the Championship, and when he was dismissed by the Whites in February 2012, the team were just three points off the Championship playoffs.

On Sunday, The Daily Mail reported that Grayson would be interested in returning to Leeds as manager should Christiansen leave.

Would Leeds fans have Grayson back as manager? The supporters have been sharing their opinion on the matter on social networking site Twitter.
