Everton reportedly turned down Inter Milan’s offer for Morgan Schneiderlin.

According to a report on Calcio Mercato, Everton turned down the chance to swap Morgan Schneiderlin for Marcelo Brozovic on deadline day.

Inter Milan reportedly told Everton that they could have Brozovic in exchange for the struggling Schneiderlin.

However, Sam Allardyce is said to have turned the offer down, and Everton fans are fuming about that decision.

Everton fans were calling to see the back of Schneiderlin for much of January, as the French midfielder has frustrated this campaign.

Schneiderlin’s attitude has been criticised, with Everton fans suggesting that he has been coasting through games.

Brozovic has never played in English football before, but the Croatian was a player who would have been welcomed at Goodison Park.

In the end, Everton made one addition on deadline day, with Eliaquim Mangala joining on loan from Manchester City for the remainder of the campaign.
