The Glasgow Rangers manager should be familiar with the new Ibrox recruit.

Rangers have raided Graeme Murty’s former club Norwich City to sign teenage winger Glenn Middleton.
Middleton’s move was confirmed via Rangers’ official website on Wednesday lunchtime.
And Ibrox head of academy Craig Mulholland said of the Rangers fan’s capture – on a deal until May 2020: “We are delighted to sign Glenn as he is a player that we have tracked for some time both at Norwich and with Scotland.
“He is a starting player in the Scotland under-19 team which has reached the elite stage of the European Championship’s even though he is still at under-18 age.
“Importantly Glenn has shown a real desire to join Rangers and is hungry and driven to succeed and it is important that we see this desperation to do well at Rangers in a players eyes when they join the club.”

Middleton, who was born south of the border in Northampton, has been a regular for Norwich City’s Under-23s despite having only turned 18 at the start of this month.
He reunites with Murty, his former Canaries academy coach, at Rangers, but may have to be patient regarding first team opportunities, with Jamie Murphy, Daniel Candeias, Josh Windass and Michael O’Halloran for company out wide.
Former Norwich pair Graham Dorrans and Russell Martin have also swapped Carrow Road for Ibrox since the end of last season.
And several Canaries fans are already venting their displeasure at Middleton’s move to Rangers – as evidenced by the following replies to their club’s announcement of the deal.
