Boro play host to the Owls in the Championship tonight, and both clubs will be desperate for all three points, for very different reasons.

Tony Pulis' side head into the game on a mixed run of form, having won three and lost two of their last five Championship outings, and they currently sit in eighth spot in the table, four points adrift of the play-off places.

Jos Luhukay's men, meanwhile, have experienced a woeful campaign thus far, after heading into the season with high expectations, and they currently sit in 17th spot in the table, a distant 16 points adrift of the top six.

Middlesbrough will be looking to jump up to seventh spot with a win tonight, but would need a helping hand from Aston Villa in order to do that, with Steve Bruce's side taking on seventh placed Sheffield United at Bramall Lane tonight.
