Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have sold Danny Wilson to Colorado Rapids.

Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the departure of Danny Wilson from Ibrox.

As announced on Rangers’ official website a few minutes ago, Wilson has left the Ibrox club to move to Major League Soccer outfit Colorado Rapids.

The 26-year-old central defender started his professional club football at the Gers and left for Liverpool in England in 2010.

The Scotland international returned to Scotland and signed for Heart of Midlothian on a permanent contract in 2013 after a loan spell at Tynecastle Park.

Wilson was very impressive during his time at Hearts and moved to Rangers in 2015.

During his second spell at Ibrox, the defender helps the Gers win promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership.

Wilson’s contract with Rangers was scheduled to run out at the end of the season, and one suspects that the Gers have received a transfer fee from MLS club Colorado Rapids.
