Newcastle United target Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion from Liverpool on loan in the January transfer window.

Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge’s move to West Bromwich Albion.
As reported by BBC Sport, West Brom have beaten Premier League rivals Newcastle to the signing of Liverpool striker Sturridge in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Italian giants Inter Milan were also keen on the England international, but West Brom manager Alan Pardew is claimed to have convinced the 28-year-old striker to move to The Hawthorns.

The former Manchester City and Chelsea striker has joined the Baggies on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season.
Newcastle need to sign a striker in the January transfer window in order to enhance their chances of escaping the drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Magpies have also missed the chance to sign Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen, according to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad (click here to read more).
