Sunderland, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are all said keen on the Derby County striker.

Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers could have one less suitor to worry about in the race to sign Chris Martin, after Slavisa Jokanovic insisted that Fulham will not be signing the Derby County striker.
The Sunderland Echo reported on Thursday that Fulham had made a formal approach for Martin, who spent most of last season on loan at Craven Cottage, and were confident of concluding a deal.
The newspaper later backed up recent media reports which claimed that Sunderland and Wolves are keen on the 29-year-old.

And according to Jokanovic, they may now be in a straight fight for his signature. “Martin won’t come back to Fulham,” the Cottagers boss told Get West London. “I make no comments on different rumours.”
Martin looks certain to leave Derby before next week’s transfer deadline, after being budged down the pecking order by new signing Cameron Jerome.

The Express & Star reported earlier this week that Fulham are especially keen on a move for Ben Marshall, another rumoured Sunderland – and Derby -target who is currently on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And the Cottagers could have the upper hand in that particular pursuit, after the newspaper added that the winger is unlikely to move to the Stadium of Light.
