Leeds United are outside of the Championship playoffs at the moment.

Don Goodman said on the EFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football on Thursday evening (7:07pm, January 25, 2018) that Leeds United have been the most inconsistent team in the Championship so far this season.

Leeds are 10th in the Championship table at the moment with 43 points from 28 matches, three points behind Sheffield United, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.

The West Yorkshire outfit are still very much in the running for the playoffs, but the Whites have been quite inconsistent.

While Thomas Christiansen’s side have won against the likes of Middlesbrough and Norwich City in the Championship so far this campaign, they have also dropped points against Burton Albion, Birmingham City and Millwall.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion striker Goodman, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has stated that Leeds have been the most inconsistent team in the Championship so far this season, and has also criticised them for the number of red cards they have been dished out.

Goodman said about Leeds on the EFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football on Thursday evening (7:07pm, January 25, 2018): “You could argue they are the most inconsistent team in the Championship.

“On their day, they are one of the best, there is no question, but then there will go on a losing streak or a streak where they are not winning games of football.”

“It strikes me there is a tiny lack of discipline running through the club and that doesn’t help you,” added Goodman.
