Rangers are reportedly still keeping tabs on long-term Ibrox target Will Vaulks.

According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are tracking Rotherham United midfielder Will Vaulks – but Cardiff City are considering a move this month.
The Gers have been busy bringing in new signings this month, as manager Graeme Murty has overseen loan deals for Russell Martin, Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings.
Despite four new signings arriving, and a permanent deal being completed for Declan John, Rangers still appear to be keen on more additions, with another midfielder on Murty’s radar.

Whilst Greg Docherty and Emerson Hyndman are among the main names in the frame, the Daily Mail now report that Rangers are still tracking Rotherham United ace Will Vaulks.
Vaulks, 24, joined Rotherham from Falkirk back in 2016, and played 40 of their 46 Championship games as the Millers suffered relegation to League One, and he has featured prominently again this term with 31 appearances.
It’s now believed that Rangers are looking at Vaulks as they line up potential midfield targets, eyeing him up for a potential return to Scotland after 18 months south of the border.

Vaulks is no stranger to the Rangers rumour mill, given that the Daily Mail reported in December 2015 that Mark Warburton wanted to bring Vaulks to Ibrox, and then also reported last summer that Pedro Caixinha was eyeing up a move for him.
Murty may now finally be the man to firm up Rangers’ interest in Vaulks, but it’s claimed that Cardiff City are lining up a £500,000 bid for the versatile midfielder, meaning that Rangers may have to move quickly if they are to pip Neil Warnock’s side.
