Liverpool have been linked with Gareth Bale of Real Madrid.
Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale.
According to Don Balon, Liverpool are interested in signing former Tottenham ace Bale from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.
It has been reported that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is ready to pay €100 million (£88.2m) to secure the services of the 28-year-old Wales international winger.
Bale started his professional club football career at Southampton before joining Tottenham in 2007.
The Welshman was a huge success during his time at Tottenham and earned the move to Madrid in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £85.3m.
The 28-year-old winger has won La Liga once and the Champions League thrice during his time at Madrid so far.
