Aaron Tshibola simply must leave Aston Villa this month and the Championship giants are hoping to get him off their books.

Aston Villa are caught between a rock and a hard place with Aaron Tshibola.

It appears that the seldom-seen midfielder has no future at Villa Park and it would be the best for all parties if he left this month. But the Championship giants would rather not let Tshibola leave for next to nothing.

They did pay Reading £5 million for his services as recently as the summer of 2016, after all.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa will let Tshibola leave this month and have received a couple of offers already for the big-money flop, who has scored twice in his last two games for the club’s under-23s.

It is understood, however, that the offers on the table are short-term loans and Villa would rather find a permanent home for a player who has never looked like living up to his price-tag.

And the report adds that Tshibola would rather move abroad than join another English club on loan before the end of January.

The 23-year-old endured a dreadful spell at Nottingham Forest in the second half of last season, starting just two Championship games in six months.

And he was supposed to spent the entire 2017/18 campaign at MK Dons, only for the League One strugglers to send him back to the Midlands after just 16 games.
