HITC Sport understands a host of Championship clubs are keen on Everton starlet Evans.
Anthony Evans in action for Everton
Everton forward Anthony Evans is a target for a number of Championship clubs during this month’s transfer window, HITC Sport understands.
Evans, who can play up front or in an attacking midfield role, is highly-regarded at Everton after coming through the ranks at Goodison Park.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for Everton, but he has been a regular for the club’s Under-23 sides in the last couple of seasons.
Evans enjoyed a spell out on loan at League Two Morecambe last season, scoring two goals and making two assists in his 14 games for the club.

A number of clubs are understood to have watched Evans on Monday in action for Everton’s Under-23s against Tottenham as he scored both goals in the Toffees’ 2-1 win.
Evans’ suitors are hoping to lure the talented teenager away from Everton with the offer of a quicker pathway to first-team football as he is currently well down the pecking order in Sam Allardyce’s plans and competition for places in the first-team has only increased with the recent signings of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott.
The England Under-19 international is in the final six months of his contract at Everton and the Championship clubs chasing Evans are ready to test Everton’s resolve to hang onto the attacker with offers before the close of the transfer window.
