Adil Nabi (L) in action for West Brom
A number of Football League clubs, including MK Dons and Barnet are eyeing up a loan move for Peterborough United attacker Adil Nabi, HITC Sport understands.
The technically gifted midfielder joined Peterborough United from West Bromich Albion in January 2016 for an undisclosed fee, which was considered a coup for Posh as he was very highly-rated at the Hawthorns by the then manager Tony Pulis.
Nabi, who can play in a central midfield role or further forward in a more advanced attacking position, has not featured for Peterborough so far this season and he could be tempted to move on in search of regular first-team football.
Despite his lack of first-team opportunities, Nabi has been praised by manager Grant McCann for his attitude and willingness to work hard and fight for a place in the side.
Nabi impressed in a recent behind-closed-doors friendly for Peterborough against MK Dons, where he scored two goals and was hugely influential throughout the whole game.
The 24-year-old's performance in that game has prompted Dons boss Robbie Neilson to make his move amid interest in the player from elsewhere.
Barnet are ready to make a move for Nabi with new Barnet boss Graham Westley a big fan of the player having signed him for Peterborough when he was charge at London Road.
With other Football League clubs also thought to be keen on a loan deal for Nabi, it appears as though he will be playing his football away from Peterborough come the close of the transfer window.
