Newcastle United's Karl Darlow did little to show Rafael Benitez that he doesn't need a new goalkeeper this month.
The Magpies could only draw 1-1 with bottom-of-the-table Swansea City at St James's Park.
And Newcastle had to come from behind after Jordan Ayew fired the visitors ahead on the hour mark, but Joselu was on hand eight minutes later to restore parity.
It was a terrible result and Benitez's side are only three points clear of the drop zone as a result, and fans of the Tyneside club have taken aim at Darlow over City's goal.
The former Nottingham Forest keeper, a £3 million signing under Alan Pardew in 2014, did well initially to save an effort, but the 27-year-old pushed it straight into the feet of Ayew who made no mistake.
Some Newcastle supporters have questioned where Ciaran Clark and Jamal Lascelles were, but quite a lot believe that it must go down as another Darlow error.
Darlow getting a bit of stick for Swansea's goal today ,I'd like to know where the two central defenders were why the forward had two bites of the cherry#nufc— andrew l (@lonna10) January 13, 2018
Darlow is shocking!— adam (@johntalvnNUFC) January 13, 2018
Could Darlow collected that cross when Swansea scored from the header or at least pushed the first save away from goal ? #nufc— Martin Trinder (@martintrinder) January 13, 2018
Poor goalkeeping. Need new one ASAP— Dave Hoggard (@DaveHoggard) January 13, 2018
He misses every cross that gets put in to the box. Should have done better with their goal imo. Should have pushed it away rather than towards him.— Marc Patterson (@MarcPatterson89) January 13, 2018
More concerned with the chance at the end, spills summit every game , got away with it— dave benn (@davebenn16) January 13, 2018
