Andreas Weimann has received praise from Aston Villa fans, after his display against Birmingham City yesterday.
Derby County went to St. Andrews and won 3-0, with Weimann getting on the scoresheet during the contest.
Weimann clearly enjoyed scoring against his former side's fiercest rivals, with his celebration winding up the home crowd.
And claret and blues fans have been quick to praise the striker for heaping further misery on Birmingham, who are currently struggling badly against relegation.
Good seeing you give it to the few fans that were there. Good to see villa still in your heart too.— Oliver Wright (@0li_82) January 13, 2018

Birmingham simply could not cope with Gary Rowett’s Derby side yesterday, as their terrible run of form continued.
Birmingham currently sit in 23rd place in the Championship table, and Villa fans are not feeling much sympathy for their near neighbours.
Villa are currently 24 points ahead of Birmingham in the table, with Steve Bruce’s men up in fourth place.
Derby, meanwhile, are in second - so Villa fans may hope that Weimann’s form dips now he has impressed against Birmingham.
Weimann left the Villans back in 2015, after spending eight years with the Midlands side, and making 129 appearances.
