Kranjcar has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2016 and was brought to Ibrox by then Gers manager Mark Warburton.
Much was expected of the 33-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur star when he arrived at Ibrox, but the Croatian has not been a huge success at the Scottish Premiership club.
The former Portsmouth attacking midfielder suffered a long-term and serious cruciate knee ligament injury last season and has failed to hold down a regular spot in the Rangers starting lineup so far this campaign.
According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Kranjcar has made just 10 appearances for Rangers so far this season and is out of contract in the summer of 2018.
Kranjcar, though, has stated that he is not concerned about his future and is focused only on playing football at the moment.
“I honestly haven’t thought about that," Kranjcar told The Glasgow Evening Times about his future. "After the injury I had last season, every minute I spend on the pitch is a bonus for me and I don’t want to look so much ahead. I want to give everything I can.”
