Rangers fans want Greg Docherty deal done

Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Greg Docherty to Ibrox in the January transfer window.

Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the Ibrox club have made a move for Greg Docherty of Hamilton Academical.

According to The Daily Record, Rangers have made an approach for Hamilton midfielder Docherty and want to sign him in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the Gers have opened talks with their Scottish Premiership rivals over a £600,000 deal for the Scotland Under-21 international midfielder.

The Scottish Sun, though, has claimed that The Accies want as much as £750,000 for the 21-year-old.

Docherty is a very talented and promising young midfielder who has quite a bit of experience in the Scottish Premiership and of playing regular competitive football.

The youngster has already racked up almost 100 league appearances for Hamilton and has a lot of potential.

Rangers fans are excited at speculation that the Gers have opened talks with Hamilton and want the club to get the deal done.
