Much of the focus at Leeds United this month has been on new signings, but one player may have to leave the club for the benefit of his career.

Hadi Sacko has been restricted to just seven Championship appearances so far this season, with the winger clearly not a major part of Thomas Christiansen's plans.

Sacko featured regularly while on loan at Leeds last season but has found his involvement reduced following Christiansen's arrival as manager and it seems rather unlikely that his situation will improve any time soon.

When at his best Sacko is capable of causing problems for opposing defenders with his directness, but he has often been underwhelming this season and would surely benefit from having a run of games.

Perhaps the best option for Sacko would be to push for a loan move this month which could give him the opportunity to showcase his credentials elsewhere.

With over two years remaining on his contract at Elland Road, Sacko's Leeds career isn't quite over yet, but he certainly needs a boost to get back on track and a temporary departure could suit all parties.
