The Birmingham Mail claim Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce could be about to sanction the moves of four youngsters on loan this month, as he entrusts his first-team stars to do the business.
Villa remain very much in the fight for a place in the Championship's top six places, as they sit in fifth place and just two points behind second-placed Derby County following a 5-0 win over Bristol City.
With no room for error, Bruce will be placing his faith in his proven first-team stars to carry the Midlands giants over the line and at least achieve a play-off place in England's second tier.
That will leave a number of Bruce's rising stars without the chance of game time to continue their development into the big wide world of professional football, and loan moves will now be considered for a quartet of Villa youngsters.
Football League trio Northampton Town, Shrewsbury Town and Oldham Athletic are all keen on defender Easah Suliman, while Bruce wants Callum O'Hare to leave on loan but is wary in regards to his proneness to injury.
January 2017 signing James Bree is also being considered for a loan move by Bruce away from Villa Park, with lower Championship clubs likely to be the former Barnsley right-back's destination.
Goalkeeper Matija Sarkic featured just three times for Wigan during the first half of the season and after returning to Villa following his half-season loan, he will be allowed to leave again with Sam Johnstone firmly planted as the club's number one.
