BNP Paribas on Thursday named Yannick Jung as head of global banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, based in Paris.
Reuters reports that Jung was previously the head of corporate clients financing and advisory EMEA at BNP. In his newly created role, Jung will report to Yann Gérardin, head of corporate and institutional banking.
The news agency also reports that Citigroup has appointed Alexander Stiris to head its business in Sweden and run corporate banking across the Nordic region.
The bank said Stiris will be based in Stockholm and report to Zdenek Turek, CEO of Citibank Europe, and Tom Isaac, head of corporate banking for EMEA.
