Everton midfielder Muhamed Besic has failed to make an impact since returning from injury.

Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his website that Serie A side Torino have approached Everton over the availability of midfielder Muhamed Besic.
The 25-year-old midfielder is way down the pecking order at Goodison Park after returning from a long-term knee injury earlier this season, only to find new signings and rising stars in his way.
The breakthrough performances of Beni Baningime and Tom Davies has blocked his path, as well as the signing of former Ajax man Davy Klaassen, who is surely above Bosnia international Besic in the Everton pecking order.

Besic has been limited to just eight appearances in all competitions this season, playing out of position at right-back and centre-back, with two of those outings coming as substitutes in the Premier League – clocking up 44 minutes in the top tier.
The former Hamburg ace has made a total of 56 appearances in all competitions with the Toffees, with injuries hampering his chances of having an effect on Merseyside.

It remains to be seen if Italian side Torino are looking to land Besic on a permanent basis or want the former Ferencvaros midfielder on loan until the end of the season, with the report failing to specify either.
But with Besic’s contract at Goodison Park running until the summer of 2021 after putting pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year deal reportedly worth £30,000 a week in February 2016, Everton are in the position of power over any deal.
