West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez is up for sale, and Newcastle United need a striker…

West Ham only signed Hernandez in the summer, in a deal valued at £16 million by the Daily Telegraph, but he has struggled to make the desired impact at the London Stadium.

Hernandez has just four goals to his name this season, and has dropped out of favour since David Moyes’ took charge.
West Ham are now said to be open to offers for Hernandez, and Newcastle supporters want to see him brought to St. James’ Park.
Newcastle have had difficulties up-front this term, with none of their forward options scoring with any frequency.
Dwight Gayle may have finished as Newcastle’s top scorer last term, but he has not been able to carry that form over to this season.
Joselu and Ayoze Perez, meanwhile, do not appear natural goalscorers and Benitez is known to want a new forward this month.
Newcastle are yet to make a signing in January, with the Mapgies’ transfer budget still not clear.
