West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho is closing in on an exit from Selhurst Park.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho is undergoing a medical ahead of a £10million move to London rivals Crystal Palace.
Sakho, 28, has yet to start a single Premier League game this season, and is set to trade in his super-sub role at the London Stadium for a shot at first-team football with Palace, who need competition for Christian Benteke.
Sakho’s move to Selhurst Park isn’t quite done just yet though, and the Daily Mail claim that Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion both made attempts to hijack the deal on Wednesday night.

If that is the case, then another team who should be plotting a late bid is Everton, given that The Sun reported over the weekend that Toffees boss Sam Allardyce is interested in landing him.
During his time as West Ham boss, Allardyce landed Sakho from Metz in 2014, and saw the striker hit 12 goals in 26 games under his tutelage. Since Allardyce’s exit, Sakho has taken 45 games to hit another 12 goals, with the pair seemingly striking up a strong partnership.
With the London Evening Standard claiming that Everton’s Oumar Niasse could join Palace for £13million, and if he leaves, then the Toffees may well pursue another striker to compete with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and new signing Cenk Tosun.

Sakho fits the bill at just £10million, and the chance to reunite with Allardyce may well be appealing, even if his first-team prospects may not be entirely better than they are with West Ham.
Sakho’s move to Palace appears to be close, but if Everton want a budget replacement for Niasse, then targeting a former Allardyce favourite makes perfect sense; they would just have to do it quickly.
