The Bournemouth midfielder would be keen on joining West Ham United, according to the Sun.

Bournemouth have rejected a £5 million offer for Harry Arter from West Ham United – and want more than twice that amount, the Sun reports.
Arter has only started one of Bournemouth’s last five Premier League fixtures, and it is claimed he would be keen on joining the Hammers, for whom his brother-in-law, Scott Parker, played between 2007 and 2011.

But, according to the Sun, Cherries manager Eddie Howe is keen to keep the midfielder at Dean Court, and has sat down with him to explain the club’s decision.
Arter is said to be one of several central midfield targets for West Ham boss David Moyes, however, the Hammers have been unable to agree fees for any of them so far.

The 28-year-old – who hails from Sidcup, south east London, but has six caps for the Republic of Ireland national team – began his career at Charlton Athletic and played non-league football for Woking before Bournemouth came calling in June 2010.
His contract on the south coast has three-and-a-half years left to run.
