Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Shelvey against Luton - they are not particular happy.
Shelvey is a lazy, arrogant waste of space IMO. Wouldn’t bother me him being sold for good money as long as he was replaced #NUFC— Sean (@sehol) January 6, 2018
On the way back from the #NUFC match. Might have won but far from an impressive performance against Luton who were the better team 2nd half. In the 2nd half Shelvey went missing and should have been taken off sooner. Diame did more than Shelvey imo— Steven Hendry (@stevenhendaz) January 6, 2018
Shelvey and Hayden are liabilities.. literally get yellow cards every game they play #nufc— Swanny (@NotoriousNUFC) January 6, 2018
