Confirmed West Ham United line-up v Shrewsbury Town: Hart starts, Martinez on the bench

West Ham United take on Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup this afternoon.

West Ham United starting XI: Hart; Burke, Rice, Reid, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Obiang, Kouyate, Cullen; Hernandez, Ayew.

West Ham United substitutes: Adrian, Neufville, Quina, Makasi, Haksabanovic, Samuelsen, Martinez.

West Ham United's FA Cup campaign begins today as they travel to the New Meadow in order to take on League One high-flyers Shrewsbury Town in the Third Round of the competition.

David Moyes' men have enjoyed a strong few days, first beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1 before picking up a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, but the attention now shifts away from the Premier League.

Moyes has decided to rotate his squad for today's game, and goalkeeper Joe Hart is handed a start against his hometown and former club, coming in for Adrian.

Reece Burk and Declan Rice - two academy graduates - join Winston Reid, Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku in defence, with another youth product starting in midfield in Josh Cullen.

Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyate join him in the engine room, whilst Andre Ayew will support Javier Hernandez in the West Ham attack this afternoon.

Adrian drops to the bench, and is joined by a host of youthful substitutes, with Vashon Neufville, Domingos Quina, Moses Makasi, Sead Haksabanovic, Martin Samuelsen and Antonio Martinez all on the bench today.
