Rangers are considering bringing Jordan Jones in, but could let a player leave Ibrox in order to do the deal.

Glasgow Rangers are considering offering a move for Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones which could see Lee Hodson depart, The Scottish Sun report.

Rangers hope to land the winger and are prepared to offer full-back Hodson as a makeweight.

Hodson, 26, has made only five league appearances this season and is second choice to James Tavernier.

Jones, 23, has made 20 appearances for Kilmarnock this campaign, netting three times.

Rangers desire to sign Jones could lessen due to their imminent capture of Jamie Murphy from Brighton and Hove Albion, but The Sun’s report states they are looking to move several players on.

Graeme Murty’s side are set to fly out to Florida for their winter training camp, and the team could have a very different feel by time the Scottish Premiership resumes.

While Lee Hodson could be sold, Rangers may be short of a back-up for Tavernier at right-back, having just sent out youngster Myles Beerman on loan to Queen of the South.
