“Since day one our fans have been there with us. We were so far away from home in pre-season and there were 500 fans, I was surprised. Let’s continue supporting each other because together we are stronger.”

Next up for Nuno’s men is a home game against Brentford in the Championship tonight, and it would take a brave man to bet against them making it 12 league games without a defeat.

A victory for Wolves would see them stretch their lead at the top of the table to 12 points.
