The Sheffield Wednesday winger only played eight times for Port Vale.

Jack Stobbs is heading back to Sheffield Wednesday six months earlier than planned.
The Owls academy graduate joined Port Vale on a season-long deal back in August, but made only eight appearances for the League Two side, who changed managers half-way through his time there.
Stobbs played just twice under new boss Neil Aspin, with his last outing coming at the start of November, and occasionally turned out for Wednesday’s Under-23s in the meantime.

The 20-year-old posted the following message on Twitter:
Stobbs returns to Sheffield Wednesday – who are being managed on a temporary basis by his former development squad coach, Lee Bullen – in the midst of an injury crisis.

However, the Owls U23s captain cannot take part in Saturday’s FA Cup trip to Carlisle United having already appeared for Vale in the competition.
He replaced Tom Pope in the third minute of stoppage time as the Valiants beat Oxford United at the start of November.
Should Wednesday give Stobbs a run in the first team?
