The Newcastle United man could join Watford or Stoke City this month, according to the bookies.

Popular bookmakers SkyBET have installed both the Hornets and the Potters as outsiders in the race to sign Magpies hitman Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Serbian has barely featured for Newcastle this season, making just six Premier League appearances – all from the substitutes bench, and his future on Tyneside is uncertain to say the least.
He moved to St James’ Park from Anderlecht in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £14.5 million, and has gone on to score just 17 goals in 72 appearances in all competitions for the Toon.

It comes as no surprise to see Mitrovic linked with an exit from the club, with his former club Anderlecht leading the race for his signature, according to Belgian media outlet Nieuws Blad.

SkyBET believe that he could remain in England, however, and list Watford and Stoke as 8/1 outsiders in the race for his signature.
Despite his struggles at Newcastle, there is definitely a player buried deep down somewhere within the Serb’s body, and he could turn out to be a useful signing for either side mentioned, if they manage to sign him this month.
