Wolverhampton Wanderers took a giant step towards promotion with their win against Bristol City yesterday.

Wolves ace Barry Douglas spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s impressive 2-1 away win at Bristol City yesterday, and shared what Nuno Espirito Santo told his players during the half-time break at Ashton Gate, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Black Country outfit have been superb all season long, and sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table after yesterday’s victory, 10 points clear of second placed Derby County.
Wolves’ ability to grind out results this season is perhaps what has been most impressive about their performances thus far, although they have played some quite sensational football at times as well.

Douglas, who scored Wolves’ equaliser yesterday, spoke to reporters and shared what Nuno told the players during the half-time break against the Robins, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:

“The gaffer said at half-time – ‘Keep doing that you’re doing. We’re going to be up against it, but keep playing and we will get chances’.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Brentford in the Championship on Tuesday night, and it would take a brave man to bet against Nuno’s men making it 12 league games without a defeat.
The Black Country outfit can stretch their lead at the top to 13 points with a victory, should results elsewhere go their way.
