It is fair to say that nearly one year since his transfer from West Bromwich Albion, Saido Berahino's spell at Stoke City has not gone to plan so far.
Stoke spent £12 million on the striker, but the former England under-21 international unfortunately has not scored a single goal.
He certainly can't be fussy about when his goal may come, and Berahino is not getting carried away with making it about him.
He told the Stoke Sentinel: "Maybe it’d be written in the stars … but it’s not about me and Darren Fletcher playing about against our old team, it’s a game when we just need three points massively. Hopefully by the end of Saturday we’re all celebrating those three points."
Stoke are in a wretched run of form and manager Mark Hughes is under pressure.
He is the manager who bought Berahino and has shown faith in him, so the striker is naturally keen to repay him if he can.
Berahino is likely not to be in Stoke's starting line-up, considering he has been selected to begin just two Premier League games this season, coming off the bench six times.
