Rangers look set to miss out on Jack Hendry, with a move to Celtic on the cards.

According to The Scottish Herald, Celtic are set to win the race for Dundee defender Jack Hendry – but could loan him back to Dens Park for the rest of the season.
The Bhoys are set to complete the signing of RB Leipzig defender Marvin Compper after the German ace jetted in to Scotland on Tuesday to put the finishing touches to his move.
Celtic won’t stop there though, and whilst The Scottish Herald claim that a £300,000 deal for St Mirren playmaker Lewis Morgan is set for completion, another deal appears to be on the cards.

It’s added that Celtic are expecting to tie up the signature of Dundee defender Jack Hendry, though much like Morgan’s expected move back to St Mirren on loan until the end of the season, Hendry could return to Dundee too.
Hendry, 22, has impressed for Dundee since his summer move from Wigan Athletic, and his performances have sparked interest from Celtic.
Whilst veteran Compper will be an immediate help to Celtic’s defence, with Erik Sviatchenko expected to leave, Hendry may only join up with the Bhoys squad next summer.

Hendry was in the stands to watch Celtic take on Anderlecht in the Champions League earlier this month, and it’s no surprise that the Bhoys are now pressing ahead with a deal.
The move comes just days after the Sunday Post reported that Rangers were looking to sign Hendry, with Celtic seemingly rushing through a move to avoid any battle with their Old Firm rivals.
