Aston Villa have made vast improvements this season.

Villa ace James Chester spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, ahead of his side’s huge clash with Sheffield United at Villa Park on Saturday evening, and shared what he loves most about playing for the Villans.
Steve Bruce’s side currently sit in fifth position in the Championship table, although they are 10 points adrift of second placed Cardiff City.
They have undoubtedly made huge strides this season, however, and look to be in good shape to make the play-offs at least.

Chester has been an important part of Villa’s relatively successful campaign thus far, and has been ever present for Bruce’s side, playing in all of their 22 Championship fixtures.
The 28-year-old spoke exclusively to AVFC.co.uk, and expressed his excitement ahead of this weekend’s home game against the Blades:

“We’re looking forward to this weekend. It’s always good to play at Villa Park. When the place is packed, they are great, great occasions. We, as players, love it. If you add the fact, we’re in the Christmas period – which always feels special – it should quite some occasion this weekend. If it’s packed-out, it would be wonderful.”
A win over Chris Wilder’s men will be of absolute paramount importance for the west Midlands outfit, if they are to mount a sustained push for the automatic promotion spots, and with the south Yorkshire side currently in the midst of a woeful run of form, Villa will certainly fancy their chances.
