Domingos Quina was a surprise starter for West Ham. Did he take advantage?

There have been high hopes for Domingos Quina at West Ham ever since the club snapped him up from Chelsea’s academy two years ago.
Quina last night got his biggest opportunity yet, picked as a surprise starter in West Ham’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Arsenal.
It did not go as planned, with West Ham losing 1-0 to the Gunners, and Quina was substituted off after an anonymous performance.

He did little to demonstrate he should be considered for Premier League selection, and it was a bit of a missed opportunity for the young Portuguese attacker.
Manager David Moyes will get some credit for being brave and giving him a chance, but at the same time Arsenal were there for the taking.

Quina could have to end up heading out on loan to get more opportunities, but last night will be an invaluable learning experience for the 18-year-old.
West Ham supporters were encouraged to see him get a start, but were split on his performance.
Here is a look at the reaction to Quina’s display against Arsenal…
