The Chelsea defender could be on his way to Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest are ‘attempting to seal a loan deal’ for Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter, the Daily Mail reports (live blog entry: 11:12).
Clarke-Salter made his Chelsea debut against Aston Villa in April 2016, but has only appeared once for the Blues since then – in a 5-1 EFL Cup win against Forest in September this year.
Only four Championship teams have worse defensive records than Forest this season – with 37 goals conceded in 22 matches – and bringing in new centre-back could help to revive the Reds’ play-off aspirations.

Clarke-Salter, who has also played on the left for Chelsea, spent part of last season at League One Bristol Rovers, before helping England’s Under-20s to World Cup success earlier this year – alongside on loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Kieran Dowell.
Should the 20-year-old also move to Forest, he would follow in the footsteps of former Chelsea captain John Terry, who was loaned to the City Ground at the start of a decorated career.
Would Clarke-Salter be a good signing for Nottingham Forest?
