The Scottish Sun quotes Tierney as saying: “My friends send me the [transfer] articles. I don’t know myself how true it is.

“It’s the added pressure you need to deal with as a footballer. I don’t concentrate on other clubs.

“I’ve got no ambitions to play anywhere else but it’s football, so you never know what can happen.”

Tierney is a Celtic fan, and the youngster is enjoying himself playing for the Hoops at the moment.

Given that the Scotsman is only 20 years of age, it would make sense for him to remain at the Hoops for a few more years at least.

Celtic fans will be please and relieved at Tierney’s aforementioned comments about his future, as it is clear that he is happy and satisfied at the Glasgow giants.
