Pulis has sparked speculation about a possible move to Ibrox after
Tony Pulis's comments about Rangers to beIN SPORTS last week have sparked speculation that he could become the new boss at Ibrox, weeks after leaving West Bromwich Albion.
Rangers fans are likely to approve of some of the names featured in the Welshman's contacts book, but could he lure any of them to Glasgow if he is indeed appointed?
Here are three he could target...
Chris Brunt
The West Brom winger was on Rangers' books until the age of 16, but was released ahead of a successful career in England. Brunt signed for the Baggies from Sheffield Wednesday more than a decade ago, but could be on the move in 2018 having fallen down the Hawthorns pecking order and entered the final seven months of his contract. The Birmingham Mail previously reported that the 33-year-old still keeps an eye on Rangers' results, suggesting interest on his part.
Charlie Adam
Signed by Pulis for Stoke City five years ago, the Scottish midfielder is another with Rangers connections, having begun his professional career at Ibrox. Adam is both out of favour and soon to be out of contract himself, and would perhaps relish a return to Glasgow, where he has some unfinished business.
James Morrison
While Morrison may have been keen on a move to Celtic last year - as reported by the Daily Record - the West Brom midfielder admitted during a prior interview with the Daily Express that he would love to play for Rangers, having followed the Ibrox side since childhood. His Baggies deal expires at the same time as Brunt's.
