Claude Puel continues his efforts this evening to reach a second cup final in successive seasons as a manager.
Puel led Southampton to Wembley last season, where they were beaten 3-2 by a Zlatan Ibrahimovic inspired Manchester United.
Puel said: "It was not a good memory. I think it was for us a fantastic final with quality. Perhaps we deserved another result at the end of course with the goal ruled out,” he said.
"We came into the game after 2-0 to 2-2 and the third goal was difficult to accept at the end.
"Now we have the chance with Leicester to reach the semi-final and that is our only focus."
Winning the cup final could have changed everything for Puel, as his Southampton side lost form and momentum after the defeat.
The way the end of the season panned out ended up costing Puel his job, but he has bounced back well at Leicester, even leading a 4-1 win at St Mary's last week.
The Foxes are heavy underdogs ahead of facing Manchester City, and will have to play much better than they did on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
